Several new tracks featured this week place the piano front and center. Myra Melford’s work on “The Strawberry” with the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra; the Yelena Eckemoff Quintet’s, “Vision of a Hunt”; Michael Wolf’s latest cover of Sufjan Steven’s “Flint”; and Fred Hersch’s “And So It Goes” from his latest, Open Book are woven into a tapestry of other really fine new releases this week.
