Alloy: Episode 135

Take me somewhere other than here. (playlist #135)

“celestial pedals” by gbmediadesign

I love that music can take me places that my mind and body seems perennially challenged to find and explore on its own. I have long appreciated the more abstract qualities of music and sound—its ability to transcend and untangle a nest of emotions, to transport via my mind's eye to some other point, some "other place." This week's show sprinkles across the arc of the playlist several current and older tracks that, in my subjective view, achieve this rare and appreciated quality.

Don't forget that you can listen to all of the music from the last episode, “The long and the short of it” (click here). This week's artwork, “celestial pedals” is an altered image created by yours truly. Thanks for listening!
