the end of blank (playlist #154)
After a multi-week absence from the airwaves, I was back this week to share new music as well as a number of tracks that explore space and place in unique ways. Tracks from Talk Talk’s Laughing Stock, Mark Hollis’ solo album, Avey Tare’s Eucalyptus, and the singular, solo guitar work of Bill Frisell on Silent Comedy, all define musical space and place in different and equally compelling ways. Checkout this week’s playlist to see the full palette of tracks shared. Don't forget that you can see what was featured in last week’s show, “Chromatic” (by clicking here). This week's artwork, “the end of blank” is an altered/remixed photograph by yours truly. You can also see it on instagram.
As always, thanks for listening!
