- Storm Large: Solo artist as well as frequent lead singer with Pink Martini and here. Here is her rousing rendition of "I've Got You Under My Skin."
- Christian Tamburr: Today's show featured "A Team."
- Not part of today's show, but NPR Music has posted Dave Douglas and Joe Lovano live at the Village Vanguard performing as the Sound Prints Quintet. This was recorded on November 28, 2012, but they are currently on a world tour.
- Matt Ulery's "Black Squirrel" is a track from his "In the Ivory" Alloy's recommended album this month. Matt is also featured in an excellent podcast courtesy of Wing Walker Music.
- NYTimes music critic, Nate Chinen has a nice review of several drummer/percussion-led new releases.
