Broken Compass (playlist episode #70)
Some weeks themes and music related to a theme (or music concept/idea) flies together with no effort, like magic...and then there is this week. Poof! No magic. The magical music and theme generating machine (my brain and ears, usually), the great musical compass, if you will, for whatever reason hit the skids this week. The metaphorical broken compass was directionless...but nothing too serious, rest assured. Maybe a modern day symptom of too much work and not enough play? Perhaps. At any rate, what did all this mean for this week's show? Well, it meant this week's show was more improv than playlist.
