mélange (playlist #86)
In the true spirit of the show’s name “alloy” this week was a musical mélange—a mixture and medley of musical offerings. Like the image above suggests, the musical light was lit and shone on new music, long compositions, more ambient/looping offerings, and much more. A melodious brushstroke, if you will, that painted mini-music landscapes across genres and themes covered and touched on over the last several weeks. Never dull, almost always changing, this week’s show covered a wide variety of sounds and textures.
